Dakatia river is the tributary of the Meghna. The river originated from the hills of Tripura state of India and entered Bangladesh through Bagasara of Comilla district and later flows over Chandpur and Lakshmipur districts. The river has got mixed in the Meghna river through Comilla-Laksham Chandpur. Which extends up to Hajima of Lakshmipur. Length - 207 kilometers After entering the Meghna Noakhali, the dacoit took the name. The southern part of which is flowing as Noakhali canal. [3] This dakatia river from Chandpur has been added to Gomti in Comilla with 230.20 latitudes and 910.31 latitude wide. Which flows south to the left of the river Feni. [3]
